Among Legends
With a genuine desire to change how pop punk is viewed in the eyes of the public, Among Legends brings a new sound and a new, more positive message to the scene.
In April 2016, the band released their debut EP, Charles St, which was met with strong support from radio stations and music sites worldwide, including For The Love Of Punk, Canadian Beats, Pure Grain Audio, 100.3fm CKMS Waterloo, PopCanRadio, Coming Up Magazine, and more. September of the same year saw a new single from Among Legends, titled “We Were Vaguely Saints.” The new single showcased the band’s growth and unique knack for catchy, powerful songwriting, and received a premiere from renowned Canadian publication Exclaim! Music.
February of 2017 saw the release of Among Legends’ follow-up EP, Starting Over. Building on the momentum from “We Were Vaguely Saints,” Starting Over found immediate support through sites like PunkNews, Dying Scene, New Noise Magazine, and more. In December of 2017, the band premiered a third EP, Some Days, through Idobi Radio. Described by Idobi as “positive pop punk at its finest,” Some Days further solidifies Among Legends’ confidence in navigating the border between earworm pop punk and melodic punk rock.
With a clear vision and the drive to get there, Among Legends creates music with singalong choruses, lyrics about finding inspiration and overcoming life’s struggles, and blazing instrumentation. It’s pop punk for fans who don’t want to be sad anymore.
