playingwithfire is an alt rock duo with a focus on creating music that blurs the lines between a wide range of influences. From the depth and energy of electro-rock, down to the melodic edge of post-punk, there are no rules. The Canadian outfit consists of Brandon Roussell and Campbell Coleman, who joined forces to create a melodically striking sonic formula that still retains plenty of energy.
Freddie Freeloader:
Freddie Freeloader is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in the Greater Toronto Area. Performing at numerous venues across Toronto. Including headline shows at Rivoli and The Horseshoe Tavern.
With seven singles and two EPs in his discography. One can expect a new single or larger body of work; semi-annually.
Jessie Vickery:
Jessie Vickery is a singer/songwriter from Waterloo, Ontario. Jessie is signed to Sonar Records in Toronto, ON. She released her first song in 2020 and since Jessie has been consistently writing, releasing music and performing at small events. Jessie’s sound is incredibly unique, described as indie/pop, pulling influence from modern artists such as Clairo, Lennon Stella, Phoebe Bridgers, Holly Humberstone and Julia Michaels. She isn’t afraid to push her boundaries and experiment with sounds outside her comfort zone.
